Latest Accomplishment: Rode the Escalator on her own today (not having daddy pick her up)
Medical Diagnoses: Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy (left side affected), Fed by G-Tube, Severe communicative speech delay, Global Dysphasia, Sensory Integration Disorder (Hyposensitive), Probable Spina Bifida Occulta (possible tethered cord), lowered pain response, severe corn allergy, not sure of any learning disabilities yet.
Misc: She calls all Disney characters Pooh (cause that is the only one she can say), she adores ppl (unless they are dressed up like characters), She loves Playhouse Disney (Stanley and Rolie Polie Olie best), Elmo is her fave Sesame Street character, Horses are her favorite wild animal, Dogs are her favorite domesticated animal

We have been with MJ since her birth. We knew she would be special needs when we took her. She has surpassed most of the Dr's expectations of her. She has the most amazing smile. Every morning she wakes up with a smile on her face, says *hu* (hug), pulls me in and says *wub wu* (love you). She LOVES to snuggle, snuggle, snuggle. Her hair is long and beautiful and hse has the most amazing expressive face of anyone I have ever met. She has deep chocolate brown eyes and can communicate whole thoughts with one glance.

She is the most empathetic child I know....She can tell what songs and shows are going to make me cry and climbs up into my lap with a tissue to wipe my tears before I even start.

I adore her with all of my heart. One hug, kiss or smile from her can wipe away any pain I have. I never knew that I could love this deeply or this completely. I truly believe that I wasn't whole until I had her.

Hiya All- decided to start a blog here too...not many ppl are visiting my blogspot....I am gonna start blogging as I can...not sure what I will talk about...any ideas? I guess I should start with a who I am section, maybe talk about my issues with MJ and my own observations...not sure. Anyone have any ideas what they might like to see?
